Installed right the first time.
A smart thermostat can trim 10–15% off your cooling bill — but only when it's wired correctly and configured for your specific system. That's where most DIY installs fall short in Florida homes: missing C-wires, wrong heat-pump reversing-valve settings, or single-stage configuration on a two-stage air handler.
We install every major smart thermostat brand — Ecobee, Nest, Honeywell, Sensi — with the wiring and configuration your system actually needs. Includes Wi-Fi setup, app pairing, geofencing, and a quick walkthrough so you're not left figuring it out alone.
Already have a thermostat that isn't working right? We troubleshoot install issues too.
Questions we hear from Treasure Coast homeowners.
Which smart thermostat should I choose?+
For most South Florida homes we recommend an Ecobee or Nest model — both handle humidity-aware scheduling well and work with common smart home platforms. We'll help you pick based on your system type and Wi-Fi setup.
Can I install a smart thermostat myself?+
Sometimes. Simple 24V systems with a C-wire are DIY-friendly. But many Florida homes have no C-wire, run heat pumps with specific wiring, or use multi-stage air handlers that need proper configuration. A bad install can damage the control board.
Will a smart thermostat lower my electric bill?+
It can help, when it's configured correctly for your system and schedule. Actual savings depend on your home, habits, and equipment — we'd rather set the right expectation than promise a number.
Do smart thermostats work with heat pumps?+
Yes — but only when correctly wired for O/B reversing valve control. This is one of the most common installation mistakes we're called out to fix.
How long does installation take?+
About 45 minutes for most homes. We run a C-wire if needed, configure the system for your equipment, connect it to Wi-Fi, and walk you through the app before we leave.
